Proposal Engineer
Job Role and Responsibilities:
Axens has an immediate opening in the Houston office, for a Proposal Engineer with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering with a minimum 3 years experience in the petroleum refining or petrochemical fields. Position functions include developing and presenting technical proposals to refining customers and interfacing with Axens Engineering Group through all project phases.
Education/Experience Requirements:
Minimum requirements include experience in developing heat and material balances, developing process design packages (PFD’s and P&ID’s, equipment sizing) and technical/commercial proposals. The candidate must have a willingness to work flexible hours and travel as required. Candidates must have excellent computer skills particularly in Excel and simulation programs (especially PRO II/ProVision). VB Macro skills are a plus.
