Job Role and Responsibilities:

Axens has an immediate opening in the Houston office, for a senior technical service engineer with a B.S. or M.S. in Chemical Engineering and with 7-15 years experience in the petroleum refining or petrochemical fields. Position functions include providing technical support for Axens’ licensed processes and catalytic reactor fills in refinery and chemical plant service applications, analyzing and monitoring current units as well as performing projections and forecasts for new fill opportunities.

Education/Experience Requirements:

Experience in Distillate & VGO Hydrotreating, Hydrocracking, Reforming, Selective Hydrogenation or Catalyst performance modeling is a plus. The candidate must have a willingness to work flexible hours and travel as required. Candidates must have excellent computer skills particularly in Excel and simulation programs (especially PRO II/ProVision). VB Macro skills are a plus
