Job Role and Responsibilities:

Axens has an immediate opening in the Houston office, for a technical service engineer with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and with 3-7 years experience in the petroleum refining or petrochemical fields. Position functions include providing field-based technical support for equipment readiness inspections, catalyst loading, commissioning and start-up assistance for refinery process systems.

Education/Experience Requirements:

Experience in Distillate & VGO Hydrotreating, Hydrocracking, Reforming, Selective Hydrogenation or Catalyst performance modeling is a plus. The candidate must have a willingness to work flexible hours and travel as required. Candidates must have excellent computer skills particularly in Excel and simulation programs (especially PRO II/ProVision). VB Macro skills are a plus.
