Naphtha Hydrotreating is an essential step for refiners to produce gasoline. Its mission is to pretreat feeds for both paraffin isomerization and mainly catalytic reforming, as the catalysts used in these processes are very sensitive to impurities.

The objective is to reduce sulfur and nitrogen contents (less than 0.5 weight ppm), but also olefins (less than 0.1 weight percent).
