Naphtha Hydrotreating (Aros) Aromatics

Naphtha Hydrotreating is an essential step to produce aromatics. Its mission is to pretreat feeds for catalytic reforming, as the catalysts used in this process is very sensitive to impurities.

The objective is to reduce sulfur and nitrogen contents (less than 0.5 weight ppm), but also olefins (less than 0.1 weight percent).

With approximately 200 references and a complete set of catalysts, Axens is a key partner in naphtha hydrotreating.
