D-1275 is a nickel adsorbent that is extremely effective in adsorbing small amounts of sulfur compounds remaining after upstream hydrodesulfurization processing. It is ideally suited for use in liquid phase applications as a guard bed for trace removal upstream of either catalytic reformers or isomerization units. It allows refiners to take maximum advantage of sulfur-sensitive catalysts such as high rhenium reforming catalysts; furthermore, D-1275 acts as a guard against unexpected sulfur break-throughs in upstream units.

D-1275 is supplied in a reduced and stabilized form. Extrudate size and shape can be customized to specific requirements.
