LD 277 is a promoted palladium on alumina catalyst used for the selective hydrogenation of VAC in raw butadiene cuts.

It exhibits unique stability in the presence of high vinyl acetylene (VAC) concentration as the formulation of the catalyst reduces the loss of the active metal palladium.

It can be also used for selective hydrogenation of phenylacetylene in styrene rich streams.
