HR 538 is the latest generation of NiMo type catalysts manufactured by Axens.

It presents very high denitrification and aromatic hydrogenation activities, as well as a superior desulfurization activity. These features are particularly interesting in the treatment of feedstocks originated from thermal and catalytic conversion processes as well as for FCC feed pretreatment.

HR 538 is a very illustrative example of the Avanced Catalyst Engineering knowhow of Axens. It can be used in association with other NiMo type or CoMo type catalysts where specific objectives are required.

HR 538 is delivered under oxide form. It can be sulfided in-situ by injection of a sulfur compound.

HR 538 is available with a diameter of 1.2 mm or 1.6 mm or 2.5 mm.
