HYK 742 is our new zeolitic hydrocracking catalyst for the processing of pretreated vacuum gasoils.

HYK 742 illustrates the Advance Catalytic Engineering know how developed by Axens. It is the lastest generation of zeolite type catalysts providing comparable
conversion levels to amorphous types but at much reduced temperatures. Coupled with high operating stability, HYK 742 will provide very long operating cycles, which together with it’s full regenerability ensures unrivalled life service.

HYK 742 presents an intrinsic activity superior to previous versions of zeolitic type catalysts. This provides further improved selectivity to middle distillate fractions (kerosene and gasoil) for a given conversion, coupled with enhanced product properties.

HYK 742 is used in second stage hydrocracking processes following pre-treament using HRK 558 and or HTK 758 catalysts which provide optimized HDN performance, together with attractive VI values.

HYK 742 is delivered under oxide form. It must be sulfided in-situ by injection of a sulfur compound.
