Application
: Hydrodesulfurization of distillates Type : HDS from Naphtha to VGO Type: Co, Mo, Al2O3 Shape : Trilobe Extrudates
HR 516 is a promoted CoMo type catalyst used for the desulfurization and denitrification of hydrocarbons cuts including gasolines, naphthas, kerosenes and gasoils.
HR 516 is an illustrative example of the Avanced Catalyst Engineering know-how of Axens.
HR 516 can be used in association with NiMo type catalysts when specific objectives are required such as diolefin and olefin hydrogenation or improved denitrification.
HR516 can also be used to post treat mercaptans compounds (that can be produced during high pressure hydrocracking) thereby delivering near sulfur free naphtha cuts suitable for reforming or isomerization.
HR 516 is delivered in oxide form and is sulfided by injection of sulfiding agents.
