HYC Series is a zeolitic hydrocracking catalyst series for processing pretreated vacuum gasoil. These catalysts possess a very high activity and a unique selectivity for the production of middle distillates (kerosene and gasoil). Compared with amorphous hydrocracking catalysts, similar conversions can be obtained at much lower temperatures. These catalysts are also highly stable. These two features result in very long operating cycles. HYC Series catalysts are fully regenerable.

They are used in the hydrocracking process after pretreatment by HR Series catalyst (to remove nitrogen compounds especially) for an optimized performance.
