The HTS 458 catalyst has been specifically designed for application in the Axens H-Oil _DC ^â process with heavy feedstocks. It exhibits exceptional conversion, HDS and HDN activities plus high Conradson carbon conversion.

The H-Oil _DC ^â process is an effective and attractive method for vacuum gasoil hydrotreatment and mild hydrocracking as well as for FCCU pretreatment. The process is based on ebullated bed technology and requires specially designed catalysts in order to convert the most demanding feedstocks. These range from distillates through to heavy deasphalted oils.
