LCPS 30 catalyst is used in liquid-liquid mercaptan catalytic oxidation, either by the extraction process or by the direct sweetening process (LPG, light and heavy naphthas—either straight run or cracked from FCC and thermal cracking—kerosene, jet fuel).

LCPS 30 is also used in the fixed bed sweetening process for treating FCC gasoline, kerosene, gas-oil and other cuts for which a liquid process cannot be applied.

LCPS 30 is liquid and easy to handle.
