September 23, 2002 - "Axens Streams New C5/C6 Isomerization Unit for Rosneft"

An Axens’ C5/C6 isomerization unit at Rosneft Komsomolsk Refinery, Russian Federation, has been successfully put on stream and has met all of its test run performance guarantees.


The 100,000 TPA deisohexanizer recycle isomerization unit boosts the Research Octane Number of the C5/C6 Light Naphtha feedstock to 88, producing a sulfur, aromatics and olefin free stream which is an excellent gasoline pool component.


Axens offers a complete set of high performance solutions to achieve gasoline pool specifications including once through, deisohexanizer recycle and advanced iso/normal paraffin molecular sieves separation isomerization processes as well as Prime-G+, the leading FCC gasoline desulfurization technology. To date Axens has licensed twenty-three C5/C6 isomerization units and fifty-three Prime-G+ technologies.
