Axens maintained a strong presence at the World Gas Conference held in Tokyo from 2 through 5 June 2003.
Pierre Boutelant, Director of LNG Projects, Pierre-Yves Martin and Jérôme Pigourier, LNG engineering specialists, actively promoted, with both general presentations and an exhibit, Axens’ natural gas liquefaction process, “Liquefin™” co-developed with IFP. The process combines the use of plate-fin heat exchangers and an integrated, thermodynamically optimized process scheme to afford the liquefaction of very large capacities of natural gas (8 MT/year and more) with a cost reduction of up to 25 % compared to classical liquefaction processes.
