October 24, 2005 - "Mozyr Oil of Belarus to Implement Advanced Diesel Technology"
The Belarus-based Mozyr Oil Refinery has selected Axens’ Prime-D technology for the production of 10 ppm sulfur diesel. The new three million metric ton per year unit is scheduled to be commissioned in 2007.
Prime-D technology has been chosen for over 40 ULSD applications for a cumulated licensed capacity exceeding 1.4 million barrel per day.
Mozyr Oil Refinery The Mozyr Oil Refinery, located in the Gomel region of Southern Belarus, exports 80% of its production to European countries such as the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Poland. Since 1996, a rapid expansion, technological and environmental improvement program has placed it among the most sophisticated refineries in Europe.
