.The Yukos-owned Syzran Oil Refinery in Russia, has selected Axens’ C5-C6 isomerization technology. Comprising naphtha hydrotreater, deisohexanizer distillation section and catalytic isomerization units, the 280 000 metric tons-per-year unit will produce high octane gasoline components.

Syzran Oil Refinery
The Syzran Oil Refinery is situated in the vicinity of the city of Samara on the Volga River and is one of the five YUKOS Russian refineries. Its crude feedstock comes primarily from the Nefteyugansk and Samara regions. With a primary distillation capacity of approximately 6 million tons-per-year the refinery specializes in fuel-option oil refining and up to 80% of its production is high-octane gasoline output.
