Hydrotreating catalyst cycle length is often limited by arsenic and silicon poisoning.
ACT 979 helps solve this problem by effectively trapping arsenic in combination to other metals, resulting in extended cycle lengths for all types of hydrotreatments (naphthas and middle distillates).
ACT 979 is particularly suited to protection of selective naphtha hydro desulfurization catalysts due to its very limited olefin hydrogenation activity, which enhances octane retention.
Thanks to its optimised physical properties and texture, ACT 979 delivers very high arsenic retention and a stability suitable for the processing of cracked feedstocks.
