HR 965 has been recently developed for Coker naphtha pre-treatment. The surface area and the texture of support as well as the special NiMo formulation have been designed for:
- Complete diolefins saturation for the protection of downstream hydrotreatment catalysts and to avoid pressure drop build-up.
- Maximizing Silicon adsorption capacity and consequently increasing cycle length
When processing a Coker naphtha, the end of cycle is most often linked to the limited silicon adsorption capacity of the catalyst. Our new catalyst HR 965 is a NiMo type, thereby being very active for hydrolysis of organic silicon.
HR 965 special formulation also promotes a higher saturation of the diolefins and olefins at low temperature.
