RG 582 is a promoted, platinum-rhenium reforming catalyst developed to produce high octane gasoline from straight run naphtha. The presence of a promoter as well as platinum-rhenium in the catalyst, results in an increase in the C5+ and hydrogen yields, maintaining the outstanding stability of the well proven RG 482.
RG 582 can be used in place of any bimetallic catalyst in fixed-bed-reactor semi-regenerative reforming units, working over a wide range of pressures from 10 to more than 30 bars. This catalyst is also available in low platinum version.
