Cyclohexane Process
- The Axens cyclohexane process is the industry’s benchmark for the production of high purity cyclohexane by benzene hydrogenation. The process is based on a liquid phase hydrogenation of benzene in presence of a soluble nickel catalyst.
- Cyclohexane technology is flexible, safe and cost-effective solution allowing for high purity cyclohexane with residual benzene down to 5 ppm wt.
- More than thirty five cyclohexane units have been licensed by Axens.
