Axens Head Office Launches its Self-Service Bike Service 21.09.2015

Since April 2015, Axens Head Office’s employees have access to self-service bikes for the traveling of short distances in Rueil-Malmaison.

A sustainable approach

The self-service bikes do not only contribute to Axens Head Office’s employee quality of life during the work day. They are also part of Axens sustainable development policy.

All the bikes were purchased at BicyclAide, an association selected for its societal approach. Indeed, BicyclAide reuses and recycles bicycles while employing people in professional reintegration.

How it works

Paulette, Yvette, Francis, and Firmin are four French names, well known for being used in “La bicyclette”, Yves Montand popular song from the late sixties. At Axens, Paulette, Yvette, Francis and Firmin are four self-service bikes that every employee can book and use to go to attend meetings in IFP Energies nouvelles, or run an errand at lunchtime for example.
