LCPS 30

  • Description:Sweetening - Sweetening of LPG, NGL, Naphtha & middle distillates (for extraction and fixed bed sweetening processes)
  • Characteristics:Sulfonated Cobalt Phtalocyanine
  • Shape:Liquid Catalyst

LCPS 30 is a liquid catalyst with 30% active material used for liquid/liquid reactions to sweeten light hydrocarbons such as LPG, NGL and Light Naphtha. It is widely used in Axens’ Sulfrex units as well as competitor units.

LCPS 30 is also used to impregnate activated carbon in situ for the treatment of heavy hydrocarbons such as kerosene, Heavy Naphtha, jet fuel, Diesel and NGL. The LCPS 30 catalyst can be applied in situ during a normal turnaround thereby saving time and money.
