Ax’In 2018, welcome on board! 22.08.2018
Ax’In, the integration program for Axens’ new employees based outside of France, held its 2018 session last spring in Rueil-Malmaison.
The Ax’In 2018 edition began with an orientation day giving the opportunity to new employees from Axens Head Office and its subsidiaries to benefit from numerous presentations about the various aspects of Axens’ technologies, products as well as its organization, and the market specificities of its subsidiaries.
This time spent together is also a unique opportunity for Axens new employees to get to know each other better and for new employees from the subsidiaries, it is also a great occasion to meet in person their colleagues from the Head Office. In addition to the obvious human benefits, this truly helps to establish a good working atmosphere for the future! This year, new colleagues from Heurtey Petrochem and Prosernat joined the integration program for the first time.
The next days of the program were dedicated to visits, providing a unique opportunity for the employees of the subsidiaries to travel to the IFPEN-Lyon site located in Solaize for a presentation of the R&D activities and to visit the IFPEN Research Center.
Another significant moment for the delegation was the visit of the Axens Salindres plant in the Gard region (South of France).
Ax’In participants had a meeting with the site Director Henri Thomas who presented the specificities linked to catalyst production.

Then, the new employees came back to the Head Office of Rueil-Malmaison for a couple of weeks in their specific department, taking advantage of this unique opportunity to work together with their colleagues and to apply theoretical knowledge learned during trainings.
4 years after its launch in 2014, Ax’In has proven highly successful and valuable for participants. For them, the Ax’In Program is a great experience to gain a better understanding of the Group’s organization and business, and to grasp the challenges awaiting them. Every participant emphasizes the importance of bounds created with colleagues during the stay in France, in order to facilitate future cooperation! #SucceedTogether!
