Through DoMInno, our internal incubator program, employees can pitch ideas, vote on the projects they want to make a reality, and receive the support needed to bring them to life. Our bi-annual Innovation Awards also encourage our employees to celebrate the innovations, both technical and non-technical, that contribute to our success and that of our clients.

Thanks to our ambitious Research & Innovation policy with IFPEN, we provide a wide spectrum of solutions to guide our customers through energy transition and reduce their environmental impact. Whether we’re converting fuels to cleaner energy or producing more sustainable fuels, our strategy is one of “applied innovation” that translates to concrete results.

Our People
Axens is involved, concerned and has a key role in energy transition, to support our historical customers, and to work on new projects on new technologies. This ambition drives Axens innovation, both in technology, and in company culture. Energy transition is also a mindset. Axens’ “fresque du climat” (Climate Fresk) is a first mark of our desire to be an actor of change, of our commitment to innovation to respond to the environmental concerns of our customers.
After 10 years in IFPEN, I had been wanting to join Axens due to its excellent reputation, I achieved this by transitioning to a specialization that I am passionate about: innovation and digitalization. My team is configuring energy consumption applications for each plant and monitor digitally utility usage to identify opportunities for reduction. The most remarkable initiatives involve integrating this data to improve production performance.
Our Research & Innovation roadmap is both concrete and ambitious: it aims to offer equipment, products, and technologies designed to improve the carbon and environmental footprint of our clients while maintaining their competitiveness. Our stake: move faster in bringing this new process to the market. Those developments conducted with IFPEN and industrial partners, are designed to fulfill customers’ regulatory, societal and technological objectives.
