Local Management & Experts
Meet some of our experts and local management from Axens India and Axens Southeast Asia offices.
Siddhartha Saha
Siddhartha has been working in the petroleum downstream sector for more than eighteen years. He started his career as a refinery process engineer in 2002, and has been with Axens India since 2009. He has worked in process design, technical services and sales before taking up the current position.
Mai Phuong DO
Mai joined Axens in 2004 as a Process Engineer. Over the years, prior to her current position, she has enjoyed different experiences as Project Manager for Biofuel Technology, Technology Manager for conversion technology for the worldwide market, and finally Technology Advisor for the Asia Pacific region. Having close contact with clients by providing support and solutions to them, and contributing to the professional network in the industry to address technology challenges, transformation, and prepare for the energy transition, are her main sources of motivation and satisfaction throughout those work positions.
As Managing Director for Axens Regional Operations Centers in Malaysia, her main objective is to ensure Axens’ growth in the region while providing a high standard and motivating work ambiance for all employees so that they will be able to have the same work satisfaction as she has.
Cyril Collado
Cyril is the focal point of all requests for technical assistance from the twenty plus refining and petrochemical industrial sites in India. With a single-minded focus on customer satisfaction, apart from managing and deploying his team of seasoned experts, Cyril makes it a point to devote a good share of his time working at sites himself, shoulder to shoulder with refinery engineers - tackling start-up of grass-root units, replacements of catalysts or discussing performances.
Cyril started his career in 1999 with the R&D department of Axens’ Parent Company IFPEN, in Paris. In 2005, he moved to Axens technical services department and participated in various grass root and revamp commissioning projects. Before moving to India in 2018, Cyril was in Axens’ South East Asia subsidiary, responsible for hydrotreatment and hydroconversion units in the Asia-Pacific area.
Kimberly KOR
In 2015, I commenced my journey with Axens SEA as a Technical Services Engineer, specializing in providing technical support to clients utilizing Axens catalysts. My responsibilities included on-site assistance during process unit start-ups and conducting follow-up assessments in the office to ensure optimal unit performance. Additionally, I occasionally facilitated client training sessions. This role provided abundant opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth while delivering technical solutions to our valued clients.
In my current position as a Technologist within the Clean Fuels Group, my involvement spans the entire process, from initial business prospecting to the preparation of technical proposals and overseeing catalyst replacement and operation. As a Technologist, closely monitoring client unit operations is important, as it enables us to tailor make solutions that precisely meet their requirements.
All the knowledge and experience I have gained all these year in Axens has helped me to build up my confidence day after day, and this makes my every day really exciting. I really like the diversity in the working environment here. Axens, a multinational company, is a friendly, culturally diverse and employee-oriented company. People at Axens are nice; we respect and value each other. Though we are all from different backgrounds and culture, we all work together with the same goal in mind.
