HR 626

HR 626 is a recently-developed CoMo type catalyst, used for the hydro desulfurization and hydrotreatment of diesel and kerosene fractions.

HR 626 combines higher hydrodesulfurization and hydrodenitrification activities together with a unique stability, whilst processing middle distillates.

HR 626 provides a higher hydrodesulfurization activity, specifically under demanding services such as ULSD service, owing to optimized carrier texture and formulation. Start of Run activity is significantly better than that of the previous generation HR 500 catalyst, with comparable proven stability superior to all competitive products. In addition, HR 626 is regenerated using classic ex-situ techniques with no need for expensive, time consuming chemical reactivation. Therefore, HR 626 presents a unique combination of high activity, high stability and cost effective life cycle, which makes it a very attractive catalyst for ultra deep hydrodesulfurization.

HR 626 can be used in conjunction with one or several of Axens HR Series NiMo type catalysts, when other combined goals are required.

HR 626 is delivered under oxide form and is sulfided by injection of sulfiding agents.
