Styrene Production

The purpose of Phenyl-Acetylene Hydrogenation Removal is to selectively hydrogenate the Phenyl-Acetylene (PA) formed in the styrene process, back to Styrene while limiting the saturation of Styrene to Ethyl-Benzene (EB). Phenyl Acetylene can have a negative effect on some styrene polymerization processes.
