As a leading process licensor, and based on its unique core knowledge, Axens has developed models and apply them to APC in refining and petrochemicals processes such as selective hydrogenation, etherification, isomerization, reforming, hydrotreatment and hydrocracking.
APC provided by Axens:
- ensures robust control,
- increases process operation stability;
- allows operators to reach the economical optimum yield through unique services and applications.
MVAC is a core technology, consisting of valuable On-Line or Off-Line components that are designed to efficiently implement and maintain plant-wide APC applications.
This MVAC Suite is built around Axens Multivariable State Space Predictive Controller (MVAC), which provides robust control and the safe capture of plant benefits. Axens recommends using MVAC technology exclusively, but it can be integrated with other control software at the customer’s request.
