LD 267 R
- Description:Selective Hydrogenation - Butadiene hydrogenation with 1-Butene isomerization
- Characteristics:Ready to Use, Pd, Al2O3
- Shape:Spheres
The high activity and high selectivity of LD 267 R are of special interest for C4 alkylation pretreatment or for pretreatment of olefins destined for polymerization units.
LD 267 R is a palladium catalyst specially designed to maximize the isomerization of 1-butene to 2-butene while selectively hydrogenating any butadiene present to butenes. The isomerization is obtained without loss of total olefins through over-hydrogenation to alkanes
LD 267 R is also proposed for the selective hydrogenation of diolefins and olefins present in high severity reformate for improvement of Acid Wash Color thus eliminating clay treatment or drastically reducing the clay consumption in the Aromatic complex (Axens Arofining® Process).
The catalyst’s special pre-reduction carried out in the manufacturing plant enables the catalyst hydrogen treatment after loading to be performed at temperatures as low as ambient.
